Hursey Creates Food Alphabet From Canceled Commercial Project

Nov 10, 2016

Getting informed that your client has decided to go with another artist 11 hours into a project can be frustrating to some, but photographer Dana Hursey decided to get productive instead. After having been approached by an advertising agency to work on a campaign for a global food conglomerate, Dana was excited to start working on his project of edible subjects, only to find out (hours in) that the Creative Director had decided to instead give the assignment to a friend. But, because he liked the idea so much, Dana decided to use what he had and instead give the initial assignment a whole new spin, creating an alphabet of edible letters that could be used for promotional purposes.

More info about this commercial-turned-self-initiated project can be found on Dana’s blog, along with the entire alphabet of fresh goodness.
