Jason Hill's Summer Highlights!

The end of summer is in sight, and for those of us here in Phoenix that means relief from this year's record breaking thirty-one days over 110˚... Somehow, Jason Hill managed to move into a new house/studio right in the middle of it!

Jason has plenty of other exciting developments to report-

He just finished hanging 17 original works at Moodswings , an Aveda salon at 520 S. Mill Avenue in Tempe. Included in the show are paintings from his 'Classic Girl' and 'Polynesian Pop! series. The show runs until October 28th.

The opening for Jason's 'Modern Oasis' show at Royal Coffee Bar is on October 5th. The show will include some new architectural photos shot with his Holga in Phoenix & Tucson. Jason's serigraph prints & notecards will also be available along with the new Sunnyslope print mentioned below... 209 W. Jackson, just two blocks east of the Icehouse, 7-11pm.

Also in October, Jason be participating in the 2nd annual Molten Brothers DECK show, an invitational skate deck art exhibit featuring the work of over 200 artists!

His book cover illustration for author Cindy Lu's 'The Four Man Plan' hardback release has now been published by Random House.

One of Jason's 'Palm Lane' photos is in the new issue of Phoenix Metropolitan magazine out next month.

The September issue of Java magazine is out this week, sporting a brand new logo, designed and art directed by Jason!

The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) hired Jason to design their fall newsletter, out now.

Jason's dreamscape' photo of the 44th & Camelback branch of Chase Bank is on loan & display at the branch, courtesy of patron Patricia Land.

He has also created a custom 5'x5' painting of the Olympus on Central for nightlife mogul William Reed mid-century condo.

Some of you may have seen Jason's depiction of Phoenix's Sunnyslope neighborhood on the July 26th cover of Phoenix New Times...
Because of the great response Jason received from the image, he'll be printing some of these this month.
