How’s your summer going so far? Did you hit the beach already? If you haven’t yet, it might be a good time to put those swimwear on and find some sand. Illustrator Kimberley Wiseman made a fine depiction of “beach-life” in the early summer, recently shared on her social media with John Updike’s poem, “June”:
“The sun is rich
And gladly pays
In golden hours,
Silver days,
And long green weeks
That never end.
School’s out.
The time Is ours to spend.”
