Anyone who’s ever followed the news knows that leaders won’t speak the truth a hundred percent of the time. Sure, some do it more often than others, but we all know that a lie will slip out from time to time no matter whose mouth it’s coming from.
This subject is brought up in a recent Korn Ferry Briefings Magazine article titled “Why Leaders Lie” and was brilliantly illustrated by Altpick member Jon Krause. It brings up the example of how John F. Kennedy needed to lie in order to maintain stability during the Cuba Crisis.
