Just recently, the sad news broke that music icon and rock n’ roll icon Jerry Lee Lewis has passed away, at the age of 87. Or “has left this venue and on the way to his next”, as photographer Marc Morrison puts it. Marc once had the good fortune of getting to both meet and photograph “The Killer” (as he was called) -- a moment that is now being shared in his honor. “The opportunity to spend an afternoon at his house was part boogie-woogie piano and a whole lotta rock n’ roll mixed in with our shoot”, says Marc. “This man was a showman first and foremost and one hell of an entertainer. May you keep on rockin.”
