A few weeks ago, illustrator Ken Orvidas was pleasantly surprised to find out that one of his illustrations had been selected for the American Illustration 42 book. The artwork in question is the excellent “flower” image he created for the MTA/NYC subway poster project. In sharing the happy news, Ken made sure to thank manager Lydia Bradshaw and her MTA Arts and Design team for presenting him with the opportunity.
