What have you been up to lately? When it comes to illustrator Hanna Barczyk, “productivity” and “achievement” seem to be the two words of the day. Her “Pearl Fishers” poster, originally created for Vancouver Opera, was recently chosen in American Illustration 42; one of her personal projects just won the Award of Excellence with Communications Arts; her latest illustrations were just published in the New York Times’ Book Review section (“A Transcendent Memoir About Family, Class and the Contours of Loss”). To top it all off, Hanna is also now in collaboration with a 3D artist in order to create a wonderful new sculpture that will take her unique style into the three-dimensional space. We can’t wait to see the finished work!
