A very different painting in terms of mood. Painted in acrylic this week on a 20" x 16" wood panel. Less is more with this subject. The big slab of the front of the lighthouse had no color in the photo I took way back in 2009. So I channeled my inner Michael Dudash and pumped subtle high-key blues yellows and reds into the neutral surface impressionist style. -- Illustrator Garth Glazier
