To quote writer Kathleen Squires at The Wall Street Journal: “scoring a top table has become a competitive, expensive and daunting task”. What she’s referring to are popular restaurants all over the country receiving reservations from bots (see: “not real people”) who will then proceed to sell their spots online at high costs. But how can we beat these so-called “Reservation Bots”? Squires might have an answer in her latest article, which has been illustrated brilliantly by none other than NYC-illustrator, Richard Borge.
