Show & Tell: The Art and Attitude of Commercial Photography By Rick Souders

Altpick.com member Rick Souders was called and asked by one of the Senior Editors to write a book about his successful studio practices and photography. The project took him 14 months from the first conceptual outline to the completed manuscript. He wrote the entire book, researched and provide all but five images. The book addresses all aspects of commercial photography.

The book is entitled \"The Art and Attitude of Commercial Photography.\" It was commissioned by AmPhoto New York. It is an inspirational, A to Z guide to establishing a successful career as a working photographer.

The book shows how to master the three areas essential to achieving and maintaining success as a commercial photographer: art (lighting, style, conceptualizing), business (the art of selling, promotion and billing), and attitude (the understanding of one\'s strengths and a sense of passion, vision and direction.)

The book is 160 pages with 113 color images, 23 black and white images. It available nationwide at fine bookstores including Barnes and Noble and Borders Books as well as one line at Amazon.com.
