Today’s corporate portraits are far from what they used to be. In an effort to attract a casual, lifestyle-driven generation of millennial, many companies have started to incorporate a more “laid-back” approach in publicly presenting their employees.
Brian Smale, who has many years of experience in shooting portraits of leaders from all walks of life, is definitely not a stranger to coming up with fun ways of portraying his subjects while encouraging them to express their true personalities. “We ask them to dress casually, bring along an object or a skill and just relax and have fun with it”, he explains. The photos below were shot during one of Brian’s latest collaborations with Microsoft.
