Nov 22, 2023

Friday, November 22, 1963, at 12:30 p.m. in Dallas, Texas the presidential limousine (code name SS-100-X) drove President John F. Kennedy, his wife Jackie, Governor John Connally, and his wife down the crowded streets when gunfire ensued and the President was assassinated.

The car was delivered to the White House in 1961, modified and rebuilt, with bulletproof systems, and remained in service for another 8 years until 1978 when it was and still is exhibited in the Henry Ford Museum.

Ivan Canu expertly illustrated the original car in remembrance of President Kennedy's 60th anniversary of his assanssination.
