Illustrator Ivan Canu continues his series of famous Italian women with Anna Magnani, Italy's symbol of Italian cinema. Anna was the first non-English speaking actress to win an Oscar in 1956. Born in Rome in 1908 near Porta Pia in the Nomentano neighborhood, Anna Magnani still remains one of Italy's national treasure.
