Marc Morrison shared this wonderful shot of Willie Nelson in honor of the legendary country icon’s 88th birthday. Though the photo was shared on April 29th, Marc points out that (according to Willy on his SiriusXM radio show) the singer celebrated his birthday both on April 30th and the day prior. “He was born on April 29”, explains Marc, “but the county courthouse out in Abbott, Texas back in 1933 didn’t record his just-before-midnight birth until the next morning. As a result, April 30 is also his birthday.”
One birthday or two, this wonderful portrait is no doubt a great tribute to this great artist!
