Dave Plunkert's portrait of Jun Tosaka for Wired Japan for Way Passed Future series. Tosaka was a Shōwa era materialist philosopher. He was arrested under the Security Law in 1938 and died in Nagano Prison on August 9, 1945, just before the War's end.
