My images originate exclusively on film or digital negative before I bring them into Adobe’s generative AI, which I use exclusively for turning concepts into moodboards, bad hair into best-damn-hair-day-ever, or jeans and t-shirt into a head-turning, black cocktail dress that kills, in record time and under-budget. The Other Kind of Butterfly Effect - starring Sarafina’s Evil Twin.

“The model is really doing all the work” -is my de facto autoresponder to anyone complimentary of my fashion work and (especially for this image), could not be closer to the truth. Sarafina brought a great wardrobe, did her own makeup and brought the kind of collaborative intuition that makes for a great photograph. Concept & styling by Naomi Cooper. Shot with a 180mm Sekor mated to a Mamiya RB67 loaded with Fuji Provia, processed at Duggal NYC(when they still processed film) and then scanned with an Epson V600 film scanner. Beauty retouching and background performed in Adobe Photoshop, finished in Luminar 4.
